Linea Stays logo, designed for life in between
A drop-down projector screen lit in a warm room with linen curtains and a paper pendant light

A room with almost nothing in it.

Which is the point. Floor, quiet, a door that closes, and a projector for whenever you want someone else counting the breaths.

Best used
For the part of the day that isn't scheduled.
Most rooms in a house are built around furniture. This one is not. It is open floor and a closed door, which turns out to be the harder thing to find when you are away from home.
Stretch out after a flight. Move through something slow before bed. Take a call standing up and pace the length of it. Sit on the floor and do nothing at all — that also counts.
The projector
Apple TV, on HDMI 1.
The wall is the screen. Follow a class, put a film on, or leave something quiet running while you move — it is the same Apple TV setup as the rest of the house, so your accounts work here too.
01
Power on
Turn on the projector and give it a moment to warm up and focus.
02
Set the input
Select HDMI 1. That is the Apple TV. If you land on a blank screen, the input is almost always the reason.
03
Use the Apple TV remote
From there it behaves like any other screen in the house. Sign into your own accounts if you want to, and sign out before you check out.
04
Turn it off after
Projector bulbs do not love being left running in an empty room. Switch it off when you leave.
Quiet hours are 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The room holds sound better than you would expect, but the volume still travels — worth remembering for a late class.
